The adults-only Stella Island hotel effortlessly impresses with its chic, modern interiors and laidback luxury atmosphere. You’ll find it on Crete’s northern coast in Analipsi. Wander through the grounds and you’ll see that the lagoon-like pool winds its way through the complex, and it comes with wooden sunbathing platforms. When it comes to food, you’ve got the choice of five restaurants. The main restaurant is a buffet setup serving around-the-world dishes, and the rest are à la carte eateries. The rooftop place specialises in Mediterranean cuisine and then there are restaurants serving sushi, authentic Cretan dishes, and grilled meat and fish. Snacks and drinks are on offer from the three bars, which are dotted around the poolside.
