The Area

The Sindbad Club has got it spot on when it comes to location – it’s just a five-minute walk from a private strip of honey-hued sand, and there’s a shopping centre on the doorstep. And El Dahar, Hurghada’s old town, is less than a 20-minute taxi ride away. However, with so much to do at the hotel, you might not want to leave…

The Hotel

This place is full to the brim with activities and facilities – you’ll find a huge pool at the heart of the hotel, with a shallower area sectioned off for little ones. There’s no entertainment by this pool, so you can chill out to the max. Fancy upping the pace? Head over to the neighbouring Aqua Park, which you’ll have unlimited access to. It has everything from a wave pool and family-friendly rides to splash zones and multi-lane racer slides.

Elsewhere, you can get involved with games of tennis, beach volleyball and yoga, or take yourself off for a workout in the gym. Plus, activities and games for children are never in short supply at the hotel-run kids’ club, which has its own playground.

You’ll be well fed here – dine at the two international buffet restaurants or opt to eat at one of the three à la carte places, where you’ve got the choice of Italian, Lebanese or Asian food. There are also 10 bars dotted through the grounds, some of which serve drinks and snacks throughout the day.
